Is Wall Street Really to Blame?

Occupy Wall Street may be the growing detonator to our very own “Arab Spring”! The movement may be targeting Wall Street but the fuel behind all this financial chaos is Alan Greenspan‘s era of lowering interest rates. That catapulted the nation in a real-estate feeding frenzy. The collapse of that market lead to a world wide financial crisis. One thing I know for sure is that money, unlike water, doesn’t evaporate. It only changes hands! What happened to all does Billions of Dollars lost from the US housing scam? Why hasn’t anyone asked the Question? Some creative accounting is hiding all that Hard Earned American Money in someone’s back pocket.

Today the interest rates are still too low, leaving Governments in a situation were they can’t finance themselves while banks are rolling dough. The banks, not Wall Street, are charging you ridiculous fees and interest to use their services and borrow money. In return they give you nothing for leaving your money in their vaults. They even find ways to chip away at your savings every month. The United States of America will never recover if the Interest rates don’t climb to a healthy level.

America elected a product of marketing from the Oprah Winfrey show. They did so listening to Oprah just like they did buying into her book of the month club! Chicago‘s financiers aren’t to be under estimated. We’re putting too much attention on Wall Street while the rest of the Nations Monsters are consuming what’s left of our dignity. I challenge anyone too look further into Chicago Money, Obama’s old Law Firm and even our First Lady’s family businesses. I bet you if you look deep enough, you’ll find there’s no lack of involvement in questionable financial activities or some controversial financial events. Americans let the lion show them the way to the lion’s mouth!

Wall Street took advantage of the situation but didn’t create the problem. Stupid greedy consumers who mindlessly embarked in the housing frenzy to buy tons of toys financed with equity loans and home refinancing are to blame. You’re now all slaves to your debt and you’re trying to blame Wall Street. The monetary figure blamed on Wall Street is a pimple on the Elephant’s Ass compared to the numbers that put the country in the mess it’s in today.

This is not to say that the “OCCUPY MOVEMENT” is not a good thing. It’s not the answer but it’s a start. Unfortunately Americans, for generations, have been brain washed into believing that America is the Land of Opportunities, thus if you fail, you have no one else but yourself to blame. That in itself is partly true. It would hold true if government and corporate marketing didn’t condition you into aggressive consumers just to take advantage of your weaknesses. Those who still have this “Land of Opportunity” propaganda deep rooted in them, will never join the movement. Their internal fears will let them to believe they are to be shamed for failing. The “OCCUPY MOVEMENT” will never grow as big as it should, as quickly as it should, due to this deep rooted American Fear of embarrassment and self blame for failing in the Land of Opportunity.

The Terror in Peace!

How long before our Peaceful Protesters become labelled “TERRORISTS”? I believe the process of Demonizing them has begun. Local governments are slowly using Police to progressively provoke the Peaceful Manifestations. At this rate I wouldn’t be surprised if America doesn’t sink into Martial Law by June of next year. An effort to protect its citizens from those terrifying Peaceful Protesters. The government has established its control over Media throughout the War on Terror. They control the propaganda machine, they can reach the most people through media and advertising. Many are already criticizing News Networks for lack of and/or inaccurate coverage of the Occupy Movement.

Peaceful protests leave local authorities and Law Enforcement with their hands tightly bound in their pockets unless some crazy unconstitutional law is put into action. The protesters need to be unruly for Police to intervene. Local authorities will use and purposely misinterpret any little action to take advantage of the situation and respond abusively to the situation. I wouldn’t be surprised if we later find out that the Oakland Authorities were behind the small group of masked protesters that vandalized and destroyed property, prompting a violent and brutal Police Intervention.

Same in Atlanta! Police are claiming a Police Officer was assaulted by the protesters. However they forgot to mention that the Police Officer rammed his Motorcycle into a crowd of protesters striking down and injuring a person. The Officer used his motorcycle as a weapon and his badge as authority in provoking the incident.

I know from years of experience that Police, Local Authorities and Governments at every Level will Lie, cheat and push the boundaries of legalities to achieve their goals. It’s only a matter of time before things escalate. Protesters will be more and more provoked until they turn violent. The most minute infraction will be dealt with the most violent Police Interventions. Ludicrist charges will be brought against protesters. All this in an effort to create fear in people and keep them from protesting.

The Government of the United States of America has taken away many of our freedoms since 9/11. Instead of standing Tall, Standing Strong and Standing Proud, Americans have been reduced to fear mongrels who need to have someone shove a hand in their underwear prior to boarding a flight. Governments across the world have turned to the extreme right and everyone who refuses to be a subordinate of the new regimes is sooner or later labelled a Terrorist.

Democracy is Dead

Forget about resolving any of this following the democratic  process. We went to war in Afghanistan and Iraq with an ideology to help implement Democracy. We’ve then turned a blind eye on Syria’s Pro Democratic movement. We endorsed labeling those in favor of Democracy in Syria, as Terrorists, in accordance with the definition given by Syrian Authorities.  Same with Saudi Arabian forces intervening in Bahrain to mute Pro Democracy protesters.

In a totally Democratic Process UNESCO voted to recognize and add a seat in a move to recognize Palestine as a State. Supposedly democratic USA, who supposedly supports a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict, quickly acted in freezing all funding for UNESCO. These quick decisive moves are designed to inflict fear, shatter the democratic process and make sure that anyone labelled a terrorist shall be fare game to be victimized by our Extreme Right Governments leaving them with no legal recourse whatsoever. Once you’re labelled a terrorist, you’ve been judged as guilty and condemned forever.

Don’t be surprised if you end up injured, victim of violence and/or wrongfully accused for nothing more than peacefully demanding a change, change that you believe is fair. Don’t be surprised if you, your friends or even your family ends up condemned, railroaded in a court of law, for doing nothing more than peacefully demonstrating. Don’t be surprised if your neighborhood ends up under Martial Law, under curfew, just because you wanted a peaceful voice for change!
